Not only does his “revival” ruin the impact of his sacrifice both on us the readers and the characters, but it also just doesn’t make sense how can he can survive a fist fight leg fight? against Magellan. We were told that Luffy surviving the poisoning he received was literally MIRACULOUS. This was a feat of endurance and resistance that still has merit to the story today - consider Luffy eating poisoned meat in Wano with no problem. Now we’re supposed to believe that Bon Clay has the same resistance and endurance as our protagonist? Even if he survived the actual fight and made it back to level he should’ve died from the poison. If anyone has any other insight as to why this happened - other than Oda or his editors obviously being afraid of killing off characters - let me know!
